Final Model (Labs and Meeting Apace for the Clients)

view of the labs and meeting space during sunset view

This picture is showing the clients' labs and meeting place from distance. All of the aspects are united with the uses of textures, connection to landform environment, and later shaped to explore the philosophy of Maria Agnesi and Isaac Newton, which they were more interested in developing complex building in simple way. It shows philosophy of their lives which they deal with many experiments to create new invention based on their ideas.

Here's the view from the final product with lighting quality during the night. As you can see, the building is matched through the landform of the building. The building is connected to the exterior space and environment. With the lighting strategy, this laboratorium and meeting place for the clients will be an interesting space for the clients to meet and exchange their ideas.

The clients' labs and meeting space.
from this picture, the hypothesis of Maria Agnesi and Isaac Newton are exposed through complex shape of the building, which is connected to their complex situation which they dealt with problems regarding philosophy, mathematics, etc.

Connection of the labs to the exterior space. It has relationship with the surrounding environments.

Inside the labs, it can be used for Maria Agnesi and Isaac Newon to do their experiments based on their innovative ideas. Overall, the hypothesis for both clients are shown in this labs and meeting space. For instance, Maria Agnesi were intersted in exploring many geometries, which she was inspired to do this by her passion in Mathematics, while Newton liked to collect his sparks and developed it through complex academic problems. Hence, this labs may suit to the characteristic of both Maria Agnesi and Isaac Newton. Nice movement and rhythm is created through this picture which later can be used as meeting place for the clients to exchange their own ideas to be developed in the labs.

the importance of lighting to enhance the labs and meeting place of the clients

These pictures are taken from top and side elevation the buildings, in order to see the connection of this building to the surroundings. This is my trials of exploring the outview of the building to the landform, it isn't the final design.

Chosen Textures (Light, Medium, Dark)

Image taken from sketchup with render quality, showing the different textures (light, medium and dark) applied on the surface of this building
the different texures has unique quality to explore the labs and meeting space based on the hypothesis of Maria Agnesi and Isaac Newton as the chosen clients.

These are the images of the building (10 boxes) taken from sketchup software. Directly from sketchup, the image is rendered to make the building looks real. As you can see, the light, medium and dark texture have already applied on the surface of the building. It actually has beautiful proportion to match with the building's shape. Placement of the different textures work well to create nice rhythm and movement towards all aspects of this lab. Therefore, the clients will be satisfied
Light texture

Medium Texture

Dark Texture

These are all the chosen 3 textures from 36 transitions that i have made. all of these textures have special quality to suit the shape and form of the building, hence, the building will have unique quality of textures based on light, medium and dark transitions.

36 Custom Textures (Dark to Light)

These are the 36 textures which has transition quality from dark to lights. All of the textures has unique shape, so it's not exposed in simple shape or form. This is due for matching the shape of the building to the chosen texture, therefore, choosing the texture from dark, medium and light need to be considered to the characteristic of the lab for different clients.

10 BOXES Trial 1

Here are the 1st trials of 10 boxes that i've succesfully exported to sandbox environment. As you can see, the landform is not arranged appropriately, and the variety of textures are also haven't been applied on the surface of this meeting labs for the clients. However, i already found basic ideas of how to generate idea in future development of this experiment.

Electroliquid Aggregations

3 Amalgamations of previously developed modelClients: Maria Agnesi and Isaac Newton.
Hypothesis: Maria Agnesi was talented in exploring different geometries, she was inspired to do this through her passion of mathematics.
Issac Newton liked collecting his sparks and developed them by connecting with complex academic problems.
This model is finally chosen to be developed in the final experiment product of the client's labs and meeting space.

Clients: Sigmund Freud and Maria Agnesi.
Hypothesis: Freud was interested in the workings of the unconscious and discovered these through studying his patients' dreams.
Maria Agnesi presented complex circumstances in a simple way.

Clients:Isaac Newton and Sigmund Freud
Hypothesis:
Newton's subjects are rendered little by little and gradually into a full clear light.
Freud was an Austrian neurologist, enthused by different ways in which the brain could shape ideas.

These are the combination of 5 boxes created in the previous tasks. Each combination has unique shape to be created as lab and meeting point for the clients.

Sandbox Environment Export 1

This is the picture taken from my crisis environment. From distance, it shows that the shape of the building has emerged with the landform characteristic of the environment. Combined with correct positioning, It shows that the shape of this axonometric building has sense of creativity, which relates the building to the environment.

The view of the building during the day time.

Here'is the picture taken from my 1st trial using crysis environment. This is the view in the night time. I have created the landform to mix with the building, to create unity and relationship between the landform and the shape of the building.

Here are the picture, showing my axonometric sketches, with textures already applied on. With texture, the shape and form of the exterior part of this building create nice articulation of space.

From 6 pairs of boxes that i have made, i chose this design, because it has a distinct architectural value. The design is actually simple, but it has unique and interesting charactesristic from its combination of shape and form. It creates nice rhythm and movement of shape, in orderto enlight the hypothesis of the clients, which is Maria Agnesi.
